Posting this cause it was one of the highlights of last night’s show, not because the album got “Best New Music” this morning. Bradford Cox’s work in Atlas Sound and Deerhunter is really the only new “rock” music that’s grabbed me in the past several months. A testament to the fact that I still have some teenage angst somewhere inside me.

I guess I’m a year late on this one. Whatever. I’m into a lot of Drumma Boy’s tracks (he’s the guy pictured) and came across Rocko’s album cause he produced damn near the whole thing. I love triumphant southern beats like this, and making the song about “being busy” is inspired.
